After a period of use, debris will inevitably accumulate inside the instrument, corrosion may also occur. The playing quality of the instrument will then be compromised.

To restore the tone quality and response of the instrument, it is advisable to professional cleaning at least once a year to remove biofilm, verdigris, zinc oxide, calcifications, etc. This can also prolong life span of the instrument.

Brass instruments are very delicate. For the best timbre, intonation, etc., structure of the instrument must be as close to perfect as possible. For instance, the piston or rotary valves must be aligned with the valve ports. The accuracy of our valve alignment is up to one thousandth of an inch.
